Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Medical Appeals
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Review and resolve pre-pay insurance denials while coordinating
with follow-up teams
Collaborate with Denial Coordinator and other liaisons for
education and payer accountability
Consult with management on process development and recommendations
for changes
Required Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle setting
Basic knowledge of coding and billing
Understanding of practice management systems and insurance/carrier
policies
High school graduate or equivalent education
Experience with denial processing and chart review is preferred
